This genre of clay teapot is made of Fujian local clay, rich in minerals. It's suitable for Wuyi Rock tea, lapsang souchong black teas, and white teas that are highly oxidised such as Shou Mei. In general it goes well with Fujian teas, not the best choice for floral teas due to the mineral contents, it tends to suppress the aroma. Silver guilted at tip of spout and lid knob.
