Spring first pick from 600+ years old ancient trees in Bing Dao Ba Wai village, Lin Cang.
Bingdao is one of the top most sought after puerh producing regions today, more so than Lao Ban Zhang in the last few years, for obvious reasons.
This lot of tea is very robust, energetic, a morning wake up tea that sure will open your eyes and keep them opened for hours. Texture is round and deep, a sign of richness in the leaves.
This batch is aromatic, can be bitter and astringent if over steeped. Use only 2 to 3 grams for each session, drain quickly after each quick steeps. It is a substantial tea in all angles.
Recommended water for all teas: very good quality filtered water, ie reverse osmosis filtered water. Spring water suppresses the fragrance quite a bit. Tap water is prohibited!
