Spring harvest from 500+ years old ancient trees in the new Ban Zhang village. Strong flavors, not floral which is a flaw, lasting with lots mineral sweet taste. A strong green Puerh with excellent value.
This batch of banzhang materials being sold for a substantially lower price and at the end of 2022 for a reason. The owner was sent to jail for cutting natural forest trees to free up space to plant new tea trees. He was released not long before the end of the year.
Recommended water for this tea: very good quality filtered water, ie reverse osmosis filtered water. Spring water suppresses the fragrance quite a bit. Tap water is prohibited!
