Made of Zi Sha purple clay, Han Wa style, which comes from a typical Han dynasty clay container that's made for water, rice storage. A classic style since Qing dynasty.
Square shape teapot is 10 times the difficulty to be made as a round teapot, the joints and lines take much more attention and detail works to be perfected, firing successful chance is less than normal. This pot is simple but not plain.
Suitable for mid aged Puerh, black tea, dark roasted teas and ripe puerh. The softening effect is palatable with reduced bitterness and astringency.
