Ying De black tea, is from Yingde in Guangdong Province. The Guang Dong Tea research Institution brought in 22 seedlings of Yunnan big leaf varietals to Ying De tea plantation, with the gold to develop a suitable black tea for this new tea region. #9 seedling is the winner in the process, well adopted to the new environment, It's known for its rich aroma, smooth taste, and beautiful reddish liquor. It become one of the main export black tea producing region since 1960s.
Malty, sweet, with hints of chocolate or floral notes, strong and fragrant with sweet scent.
Use 3 g for a normal coffee mug size cup, off boil water approximately 209 F. Best result with Kungfu style brewing with either a teapot or gaiwan. Good filtered water such as reverse osmosis water is highly recommended.
