This green tea is harvested from a wild grown tea hill, has a signature intense Yunnan soil flavors, more so than green puerh. Strong flavors, we recommend using 2 g of teas for mug style brewing, it can easily get overly strong resulting in bitter flavors, however the aftertaste is rather sweet with trace of floral notes, pleasant after the stimulating bitterness. The bitterness can be avoid by using less leaves, increase water ratio or shortter brewing time.
Recommended water for tea: very good quality filtered water, ie reverse osmosis filtered water. Spring water suppresses the fragrance quite a bit. Tap water is prohibited!
