This lot is from Anhua, Hunan, Gao Ma Er Xi, being the best Heicha region! In 1953, chairman Mao gifted 10k kg to Russia, he was a Hunan native, he knew what is best about Heicha. This small area became the royal tea garden since the beginning of Ming dynasty. It has since been distributed by the royal court to troops at the western borders of China, even today heicha is still the most popular tea in the western part of China, Tibet, Xinjiang, Mongolia area.
